Teach the AI agent from the documents you have

Add files, web pages, a whole website or your help centre. The AI agent reads them, answers customers from them and shows where each answer came from. When the answer is not in what it knows, it hands the chat to a person instead of guessing.

On the Pro, Agency and Enterprise plans. Reading new content uses AI credits.

Add it, check it, let it answer

  1. 1

    Add sources

Upload files, give a web address, a whole site or a sitemap, write a text, add questions and answers, or use your help centre.

  2. 2

    Watch it being read

Each source shows its state: waiting, being read, ready, or failed and why. Open it to see the pieces it was cut into.

  3. 3

    Test it

Ask a question in the test box and see the answer, the pieces it used and how sure it was.

  4. 4

    Fix the gaps

The gap report lists the questions it could not answer. Turn one into a help article or a saved reply in one click.

What it can learn from, and how it answers

The AI agent, suggested replies and the chatbot answers draw on the same sources. Every source is yours to switch on, off or delete.

Files
PDF, Word, text, Markdown, CSV and HTML files. They are kept in your storage and read in the background.
Websites
One page, a whole site with a depth and a page limit, or a sitemap. Choose paths to include or leave out, and a time to read it again, or press “refresh now”. The site’s robots.txt is respected.
Your own words
Pasted text, questions and answers, the help centre’s articles, and, if you choose, your solved tickets with card numbers and codes removed.
Cut into pieces
Documents are cut into pieces that keep their headings, and tables are kept as rows. A page that has not changed is not read again, and duplicates are dropped.
Answers with sources
Each answer keeps the pieces it came from, and the team can open them and see how sure the AI was. Thumbs up or down, and “correct this answer”, teach it.
“Not in what I know”
If the answer is not there, the AI agent asks a question or hands the chat to a person. It does not invent one.
Scope
Choose which brands, channels and languages each source is for, so a bank’s card pages are not used to answer questions about loans.
Internal only
Mark a source for the team only. It helps with suggested replies, and the AI agent never quotes it to a customer.
Safe by design
Only public web addresses are read, with limits on size, time and redirects. Instructions hidden in a page or file are treated as text, never as orders.
Pro

On Pro, Agency and Enterprise

The number of sources and pieces grows with the plan. Reading new or changed content costs AI credits, and each answer that reaches a customer still costs one.

Questions

Can I give it a whole website?

Yes. Give an address and choose how deep to go and how many pages at most, or give a sitemap. You can include or leave out parts of the site and have it read again on a schedule.

Which files can I upload?

PDF, Word, text, Markdown, CSV and HTML files, up to a size set for each type.

Can it invent answers?

It is told to answer only from your sources. When it is not sure, it asks a question or hands the chat to a person, and the answer shows the pieces it used so you can check it.

Can some sources stay private?

Yes. A source marked internal is used to help your team and is never quoted to a customer. Solved tickets are always internal.

How do I know what is missing?

The gap report groups the questions it could not answer. Turn one into a draft help article, or into a saved reply from a teammate’s answer.

Is it available through the API?

Yes. Sources can be managed from the public API and from the MCP connector.
