Features
Know every customer who chats with you
When a customer is signed in on your site, the chat already knows who they are: their name, their email, their plan and anything else you choose to send. Your team stops asking for their email, rules put your best customers first, and the AI agent answers with their account in mind.
Get startedFrom the Starter plan. Rules, proactive messages and the AI agent use the details from Pro.

Copy your chat’s secret
Owners and admins find it under Website chat. It stays on your server, never in your pages.
- 2
Your server makes a code
A few lines in Node.js, PHP, Python or any language turn the customer’s id into a code only your server can make. On Shopify and WordPress, it’s a paste.
- 3
Your page tells the chat
Two lines hand the chat the id, the code and any details. What decides who gets what, your server sends itself, so the customer’s browser can’t change it.
- 4
See it working
The setup page turns green once a signed-in customer is recognised, and says what to check when a code doesn’t match.
What changes for your team
Everything here works today, on the website and in the Hivenza app.
- Their name, without asking
- The chat arrives under the customer’s name and email, marked “Signed in on your site” with their id in your system.
- Their details beside the chat
- Plan, company, seats, when they joined, what they spend: whatever your site sends shows next to the conversation. Text, numbers, yes or no, and dates.
- Rules that know your customers
- Send Enterprise customers straight to a senior team, mark Pro customers as high priority, tag the people on a trial (Pro).
- Speaks first to the right people
- A proactive message can be only for customers whose details match, like those whose trial ends soon. Which ones a customer gets is worked out by Hivenza, so your targeting never shows in the page (Pro).
- An AI agent that knows their account
- The AI agent reads their details when it answers, so “can I add seats?” gets an answer that fits their plan (Pro).
- Nobody can pretend
- The code is made with a secret only your server and Hivenza hold. Change the id in the browser and the code no longer matches.
- Your server has the last word
- Details your server sends can’t be changed from the page, and customers are known before they ever chat. An account deleted on your side can be forgotten here too.
- One chat on every device
- The same customer sees one chat on their phone and their computer, and a chat started before they signed in comes along.
- Works with what you have
- Any website and any server language: ready code for Node.js, PHP and Python, and a paste for Shopify and WordPress.
Included from Starter
Every plan with the website chat knows signed-in customers and shows their details beside the chat. Using those details in rules, proactive messages and the AI agent comes with Pro.
Questions
Do I need a developer?
On Shopify and WordPress, no: it’s a paste. On a site you built yourself, whoever looks after it needs about 15 minutes: a few lines on the server and two in the page.
Is it safe?
Yes. The secret never leaves your server; the browser only carries a code made from it. Without the secret, nobody can make a code that passes for another customer. If the secret ever leaks, make a new one in one click and the old one stops working.
What can we send about a customer?
Up to 100 details each: text, numbers, yes or no, and dates. Name them as you like: plan, seats, signed_up, city. Name, email, phone and company have their own fields.
What if a customer changes the page?
Details sent from the page could be changed in the customer’s own browser, so send what decides who gets what (their plan, what they pay) from your server. Those can’t be changed from the page.
What about visitors who aren’t signed in?
They chat as before, as visitors. Nothing changes for them.
How do we know it works?
The setup page shows whether signed-in customers are being recognised today, and says what to check when a code doesn’t match, for example a secret renewed in Hivenza but not on your server.
Where do we see the details?
Beside each chat in the inbox, on the website and in the Hivenza app. The setup page also lists every detail your site has sent, ready to pick in rules and proactive messages.
